I've been playing this game for a while, but there's one thing I don't understand: What do the stars do? What are they used for? What are they there for? The game doesn't provide any explanation for the stars, so we are basically left in the dark about them.

By the way, I've noticed that you've made plans on a sequel. As an avid idle gamer, here's my advice: DON'T. Idle games are games that require maintenance, and many idlers (including Clicker Heroes, Cookie Clicker, Anti-Idle: The Game, and Trimps) stayed strong because their devs updated them from time to time. For this game, updating the game involves checking the overpriced parasite upgrades (this game has a price increase of 9% per level for each parasite as opposed to Clicker Heroes' 6% per level for each hero) and the overall-slow progression (a smoother game would be based on the 5th screen's final cell, which has 20 trillion HP as opposed to the semifinal cell's 80 trillion HP). Other than that, the game's rather decent. 7/10

BambooHutGames responds:

Sorry, the stars are a for a score that is only working on Kongregate, should have explained that a bit better. And the price increase of 9% goes lower at certain intervals.

Thanks for your input about not making a sequel, but my little experience as a game developer tells me that sequels are the way to go as a beginner. The problem is that a game's ratings are very hard to change (I've put quite some effort into games after releasing them, with little to no affect on the ratings). If the ratings aren't pretty damn good right away, the game will vanish into the giant pile of average games. Therefore I think it is much better to learn from your mistakes and do things better in a sequel where you can reuse the better parts of the game. I do put time into my games after they are released because I do care about my players, but I have to balance that with my dreams of becoming an indie developer, and therefore I can't spent days and weeks on a game that already had it's one shot.

Greetings

Hey. While the idea of this idle game is pretty original, I feel that the game may have put too much emphasis on "ascensions" (soft resets). It might be from the slowness of the Rabith businesses, which may provide a huge chunk of revenue, but may be practically useless without offline farming, which this game does not have.

Also, I noticed that there is a major bug in the "Increase 2x g/c" upgrades. Instead of multiplying my current gold per click value, the upgrades increase the value by just 10 g/c. I recommend checking the game's gold per click algorithm to fix this problem.

Overall, I'll rate this game an 8/10. Not bad, guys.

Thanks for your feedback, we are working in a mayor update with all these improvements.
Check back soon :)

I dunno if anyone else mentioned this fatal flaw yet, but when you die, the game freezes the browser and you would have to restart the entire browser. Other than that, it's a decent game.

I'm uncertain, but I think its from the particles I added in the game. Thanks for the review and the feedback!

This is a cool idler. The gameplay utilizes various chemistry-based items, such as the periodic table, some compounds, and a knowledge database. However, when looking at the discovery dates of the elements that have been used in the BC years, I've noticed that the years are listed as -9999. This seems off, especially since said elements actually have discovery dates, or at least "earliest known use" dates. For example, antimony was used in 3000 BC, as stated here.: "An artifact, said to be part of a vase, made of antimony dating to about 3000 BC was found at Telloh, Chaldea (part of present-day Iraq), and a copper object plated with antimony dating between 2500 BC and 2200 BC has been found in Egypt."

That bit of info about antimony came from Wikipedia, which affiliated the bit of information with The Kirk-Othmer Encyclopedia of Chemical Technology.

So yeah, maybe try editing the -9999 dates next update.

NewProject responds:

I need some days, but in the end I was able to add your suggestion.
There is no more -9999 like a year of discovery.

Well, I got to admit, this game is good. The controls are very accurate, the animation is smooth (though the art leaves much to be desired), but my only problem is this: How did anyone manage to get over 10,000 meters in this game? Best I got is 10.705 meters. Plus the lackluster art. Eh well, 9/10.

danishgoel responds:

Thank you very much for the kind words.

The 10k meters score is certainly a hacked one. I am using all the best practices of both encrypting the score at runtime and in storage. Don't know how someone managed to post a hacked score :/

This is a nice game. Cool artwork, nice animation, and a nice high-score system. Of course you guys should try something other than simply making the fruit fall faster. It kind of hurts the eyes when you get to level 8 and those who made it to level 15 may get a headache. That's the main part you guys should focus on: The potential eye-straining and headaches. I'll give it a 9/10.

gsgames responds:

Thanks for the feedback, I uploaded a new version which is considerably slower. What was level 1 is now level 5.
